I am a born n bred Tyke, and a Committed Christian. I firmly believe that every new day is a door way to new adventures and new opportunities. For my sins I am a Barnsley supporter as my younger brother would say “it’s good to go o the Barnsley matches it is a good form of relaxation” !!!!!!!!! I enjoy Dales walking gardening in deed everything to do with the great out doors.

I have been involved in photography for one heck of a lot of years, for the last six or seven years (maybe longer) I have been on the YPU panel of judges and lecturers. Which I thoroughly enjoy I meet some great folk on the circuit and I have enlarged my circle of fiends considerably.

I still much prefer working in tradional methods of photography i.e. darkroom though this is getting harder and harder as time goes on. With the recent demise of so many film and paper producers neither Fuji nor Kodak now provide sheet paper. Fortunately we can still get all the Mono materials required.

I don’t have any particular field of photography I often say “ nowt's safe from my camera” My whole out look to photography is enjoyment and if you don’t enjoy it find summat you do enjoy. Life is far to short to labour at things that don’t full fill you.
