Howard G Tate

Howard, now 57 years of age, retired from engineering in 1997 and returned to the UK from Hong Kong where he had lived for 16 years. He then started a photography business concentrating on Architectural Photography (external and internal) and changed to portrait photography in his studio when he became fed up of humping gear all over the country to jobs where no-one at the requisite building had any idea he was coming and so no arrangements had been made. His business now concentrates on producing slides from digital images. Besides being Secretary of the YPU he is also Secretary of the PAGB and is studying for a Master of Arts degree in Photography at DeMontfort University in Leicester. Howard is still a film worker and uses 35mm, medium format and 5"x4" transparency film.
