David Kershaw
This is my 51st year in photography and one day I may actually take
a reasonable picture. I joined Wakefield Camera Club in 1975 and I am currently
Vice President.
I have always been interested in post capture manipulation, even
back in the days when I used slide film.
Pseudo-solarization, multiple exposure, slide
sandwiches and rapid temperature changes when processing are all things I have
tried. Now with digital photography and Photoshop the only restrictions are my
own limited imagination and the YPU judges.
As age is now reducing my mobility, I am exploring HDR and Macro
Focus Stacking. These require me to take time over an image (with lots of
sitting and pondering) and the results to date look promising. Should you see
an aging photographer asleep whilst resting on his tripod, please give him a
nudge; it may well be me considering my next image..
