Alan Stopher CPAGB

I joined Huddersfield Camera Circle in 1996 and was involved in the merger with Huddersfield Photographic Society in 2004 to form the Huddersfield Photo-Imaging Club. I was this club's first President and have since then been the Competitions Secretary. Newly on the YPU Executive I have taken over from Alan Ford as Judge & Lecture List Secretary. I have been taking photos since 1974 with Olympus cameras and used to enjoy working in monochrome in the darkroom.  I bought my first digital camera in 2006 and have only really started on the steep learning curve this presents.
