Judged a Success!

The well attended YPU Workshop for Judges held at Carleton Community Centre on Saturday 18th February proved to be both enjoyable and successful. In the morning 15 budding judges from all over Yorkshire learned a lot from the experiences of YPU Executive members Ray Brammall, Andrew Rothery and Dave Burgess. After an excellent buffet organised by Pat Reed, all participants had a go at judging prints whilst being filmed by Peter Thompson. The experienced judges then gave feedback on their performances before each video was played back. Particularly encouraging was that a high percentage put themselves forward for the supplementary list of judges.  Look out for them listed in a new mailing to be distributed at the AGM

Judge the Judge!

In order to maintain the quality of judging throughout the YPU, your Executive needs feedback. Have you had a new judge that did well? New judges on the supplementary list need two good reports to move on. Was your last Judge too severe? or just plain bad?

We will never know if you don't tell us!

And now you can download forms for judge and lecture feedback to your computer from here.
